Warehouse Operations

In April 2004, the Edmonton Food Bank moved to a new location. The new warehouse, located at 11508 – 120th street, offers a better dock area, more parking and a larger storage space in a lower-traffic area.

While our facility lacks any kind of flash, it is centrally located and accessible to the entire city. It is close to major transportation routes and bus lines, has several loading docks, two walk-in deep freezers, and two walk-in coolers. With over 3.2 million kilograms of food coming into and going out of the organization each year, loading docks are essential. As well, the coolers and freezers enable us to keep the quality of our perishable produce.
