Very grateful for the hamper
My mom was hit by a semi-truck 8 months ago and has been living on her private disability plan since then. Things were fine until my step-dad was laid off. Suddenly there was not enough to cover bills and get groceries for our family (my mom, my step-dad and I). Mom asked the Food Bank for help, she felt strange because she usually donates and is uncomfortable being on the other side. She thinks this will be the only time she will need help and is very grateful for the hamper.
