A man immigrates from Europe to Edmonton and plans to work as an engineer. He discovers that his qualifications don’t meet Alberta’s standards and must return to school. He finds a job working at night as a janitor and begins saving for school. It’s still a struggle financially to live in his new city. He’s referred to Edmonton’s Food Bank by an immigrant agency.
