Edmonton’s Food Bank is a central warehouse and referral centre, which distributes food to more than 250 agencies, churches, and food depots that provide food services to people in need. Food services can be in the form of food hampers, meals, and/or snacks. Poverty and food security are complex; therefore, Edmonton’s Food Bank also refers people to other resources, which may assist them with their food security, such as collective kitchens or food buying co-ops.
To access a hamper, referral, or other food services, please call our Client Services line at 780.425.4190. Our phone lines for food services are open from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Your patience is appreciated as phone lines can be very busy. If you require a food hamper, you will be directed/referred to the community food depot in your area. We are unable to accommodate e-mail requests/intakes or return phone message requests.
