Warehouse

Whether it is sorting some donated food, packing hampers, driving a truck or sweeping the floor, volunteers are the heart beat of the warehouse.
Opportunities are available for individuals over 14 years and groups of up to 10.

Client Services

Volunteer your time accepting calls from clients. Volunteers are asked to commit to a 4 hour per week schedule for a 6 month period. Skills required include excellent communication, basic computer skills and experience dealing with clients in crisis. Training and support is provided.

Special Events

Every year more than 1,100 special events are held in our community in support of Edmonton’s Food Bank. There are opportunities for individuals or groups of all ages to support our work through these special events. Duties often include accepting food and monetary donations, loading trucks, performing as Fill-Up our mascot and more. Annual events that require Special Event volunteers include: Heritage Festival, Stuff-A-Bus, Tackle Hunger, and many more.
