Thank you for helping us be Carbon Conscious!
To maximize our trucking resources, we can not arrange pick ups for small amounts of food. Non-perishable food donations may be left at any major grocery store or city of Edmonton Fire Station (the firemen/women are more than happy to lend a hand unloading!), or directly at our main warehouse at 11508-120 Street (Monday to Saturday 8:30am to 4:30pm; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday 4:30pm to 7:30pm – except holiday weekends).
To arrange the pick up of large donations of 50 kilograms (100 lbs) or more of food, please call 780.425.2133.
Below is Edmonton’s Food Bank Most Needed Items list. The list provides guidelines to donors; however, other food items are also appreciated. Please note that specific foods such as lentils and rice are also gratefully accepted by the Food Bank for supporting the cultural diversity of Edmontonians in need.
As an aside, toiletries such as deodorant and shampoo or diapers are accepted (please ensure that these items are identified and sealed separately from food donations to limit breakage or contamination).
If you are a corporate food donor and would like more information on scheduling food pick-ups or understanding what types of product can be donated to the Food Bank, please call 780.425.2133 to speak with our Resource Development/Special Events department
Thank you for your ongoing support to Edmonton!
